Baguio City: Strawberry Farm

June 23, 2012. Last Day in Baguio. Huhu, Had to leave, Baguio weather's killing me! Chos. Our itinerary for this day was only to visit the "famous" Strawberry Farm in La trinidad, Benguet. Cause we thought we were running out of time!!! (well, slight) but anyway, our itinerary changed (for the better). Thank You God!

My sister and I were arguing (we always do! HAHA) if we're gonna have our breakfast at SM or if we should just have our brunch at the farm (which is 30 minutes away from Baguio City.) We've heard there's a lot of carenderia's there. So while we were arguing we also started walking (decisions..decisions) Haha. Good thing, we passed by Panagbenga Park located at the corner of Loakan Road and South Drive. Yey!

Thanks Manong driver.

So yeah, finally we made our decision. Ate Babes: "Let's go to the farm nalang and have our brunch there" (K. Kaw naman lagi nasusunod! Che!) Hahaha..JK! Love you Te! Lol.

Chopsuey Rice.
Free soup!
Food was yummeh! Well, It's Baguio City baybeee! :))
No time to waste, picture picture na tayo sa farm. Let's go! (conyo problem) Haha

A unique experience for the whole family, you get to pick fresh strawberries -- right alongside the Ibaloi farmers -- to bring home or consume while on vacation in the Summer Capital of the Philippines. There's no minimum amount per person, by the way, they just weigh how much you all have picked together and you're charged for it.

We also tried Strawberry Dirty Icecream being sold there. (It's not "literally" dirty okay?). PHP 20.00/cone

Kaya ko toh!
We actually hired a taxi for the day and he was pretty familiar with the places in Baguio. He suggested that we should also visit Bell Church, Lourdes Grotto, Tamawan Rock Garden and Easter Weaving Room INC. We were so lucky to have "Manong" driver. He was really nice.

Pwede magpapicture na kunwari ng weave ka din!!! saya! :)

Finished product. teden!
Ok. So here's a pic with Manong Driver, Kuya Alex Ortega (feeling ko crush nya ako kasi He insisted to have a pic with me and even asked for my number. Charut! feelengera, Hayaan nyo na! HAHA)

Ok... pack up! next location.. (Shooting? artista lungs? Haha)

ang tunay na Blackberry. LOL

Lourdes Grotto was our last destination. Went back to our hotel after that.

Picture taking with the Locals. :)

Checked out and went straight to Victory Liner's terminal after. Our bus left at around 12:40pm. We were not able to visit Cafe by the Ruins. :( So sad, i really wanted to try the most expensive coffee in the WORLD! Sucks, Big time! I forgot to bring my "What to do in Baguio List" so yeah, unfortunately I forgot..Huhuhu, I'll be back! I promise! Chos.

Touchdown Manila at around 8pm already, we were all tired and SICK! Hahaha, (yes unfortunately, so we decided to rest nalang, wala munang GIMIK kahit 3pm pa flight namin the next day). ZzzzzZzz

Well actually, I'm still sick and I have a runny nose right now while working on this blog. Im done here. I'm going back to sleep. Bye! :p

Baguio City: Philippine Military Academy and Burnham Park

The Philippine Military Academy (Tagalog: Akademiyang Militar ng Pilipinas) or PMA, is the Philippine military school for the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). Located in Fort Gregorio Del Pilar, Loakan Road, Baguio City. It is the training school for future officers of the AFP.

As you enter the main gate/entrance, you will be asked to register and leave any valid IDs in the guard's post.  Note: Those who wear slippers weren’t allowed inside the camp. But girls are allowed to wear mini-skirts and shorts. Uhm..yeah! Haha :D (buti nlang pwede, kasi I was wearing shorts that time. Haha)

It was our first time to enter the grounds of PMA, so we really didn't have an idea where to start the sight seeing.

Alin ang naiba? Haha

As much as we like to explore more of the place, we had to leave or else our itinerary will be ruined. Chos.

Burnham Park is only one of several parks that can be found in Baguio City.

You can ride the Swan Boat!!! There's additional P25.00 if you need someone to pedal it for you. =p

Burnham is also known as the park where you can have a bike ride.

After Burnham park, we went back to our hotel. It was a looooong day.
