Pilipinas: No More Terminal Fee Collection in Airports!

Conyo problem: "Hindi ako na brief! Just read about this today" Haha...

The Philippines is just one of two countries that continue to collect terminal fees in airports but good news! The terminal fee for all domestic flights will be included in the ticket price. Yehey!! Hehe

“Starting Aug. 1, 2012...The domestic passenger service charge (DPSC), commonly known as airport terminal fee in the amount of P200 which passengers pay at designated counters in NAIA, shall be paid upon purchase of airline tickets through Internet booking, airline ticket and ticketing or travel agents,”
--the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA)

Senior citizens, overseas Filipino workers, and others who are exempted from paying the terminal fees will have to comply with the new system and pay the terminal fees in their plane ticket then get a refund later.

Instead of having all passengers line up to pay terminal fees, only those who are entitled to refund will line up for their reimbursements. But, there's a "but''....hehe, holders of tickets issued before that date (August 1) will still have to pay the terminal fee at the designated counter in NAIA/MIA

I'm happy with this news. Less queuing time for passengers. For now, it will apply only to domestic flights. Later, it will be applied also to international flights. Payts!

How To Impress a Girl On The Phone

You have seen her, you have met her, you like her and you really want to impress her. If this is what is going through your mind right now then you should continue reading...

While impressing a girl requires the guy to make an effort and woo her in person, more than half the battle is and can be won when talking to her over the phone. Yes, you can’t see her expressions and gauge her mood but you can sense the tone of her voice and continue the conversation in a way that pleases her.

1. Know when to call
You cannot call her randomly any time of the day. Nor can you call her twenty times in a day. What you must do, however, is know when you can call her. It could be in her lunch break, or when she is
travelling back home from work/school or at night. If you get the timing of the call right, then the conversation is bound to head in the right direction.

2. Know what to talk
We know that you will stick to talking sweet little nothings and that you will flirt on the phone. While you should do this, don’t ever get to talking about work and how it troubles you. She is not your agony aunt, she is the girl you want to impress. Also, show concern for what is happening in her life right now. Ask after her work and family, and then let her carry the conversation forward in the direction she pleases. Not to forget, talking about your ex is a strict NO-NO!

3. Show concern
Show concern for what is happening in her life right now. Ask after her work and family, and then let her carry the conversation forward in the direction she pleases.

4. Talk sweetly
You will be able to impress her if you talk softly and sweetly on the phone. Don’t be loud and don’t get aggressive. Let your true feelings for her engulf you and let the love do the talking!

5. Don’t lie!!!
The last thing you want to do is lie to her. If you fumble while talking, cook up stories, or sound unsure of what you are saying she will know something is wrong. If she begins to doubt your intentions, or mistrusts you, everything will do downhill from there on.

6. Be a good listener
The whole point of a phone call goes to waste if you don’t listen to what she has to say. So make it a point to listen to her attentively and give her your 100% attention.

7. Talk about common interests
She will go to sleep if you talk about stuff that does not interest her – like football, F1 or computers. Make it a point to talk about things that you both like and find interesting.

8. Sing!!! :)
This may sound a bit unusual, but you can definitely give it a try. If you have a fairly decent voice then you should sing to her over the phone. String a guitar along if possible. She will surely be impressed and flattered.  If you want to impress a girl on the phone, then the best tip we can give you is to sound genuine. Don’t sound too cocky and fake. Keep it simple and keep it sweet. She will be able to hear the sweetness in your voice and she will start to develop feelings for you.

Macau: Las Vegas of Asia

Since Macau does not have a railway system like HK, buses and cabs are the common means of going around so I was a bit anxious about our day trip. After breakfast, we started walking to look for China Ferry Terminal, however, I failed to get the exact address of the terminal but fortunately, an old man came to the rescue! Yey! hihi

We got the 10:30 am schedule since it was already 10:00 am when we arrived. The ticket is open; meaning we can come back anytime not later than 10:30 pm. We immediately proceeded to the departure area, filled up the departure card, passed through immigration and followed the directions going to the berth. After 10 minutes we already boarded the ferry.
BAWAL toh ha?! Haha! Taking pictures is a NO-NO, nakaw-pic lang toh. Sorry! :p

After more than an hour we finally reached Macau! It was way hotter than Hong Kong, goodness! Again, we passed through immigration then got a map.

We almost got lost in Macau! Unlike Hongkong, they don't have "signs" everywhere and most people don't speak English. :( The map was also useless! I threw it away! (chos lang hihi)

trying hard!!!
I saw a limousine and it made me smile. Haha!

Still cant figure this out! Stupid map! Lol

"im sooo freakin pissed... I need food!" Haha, So we went to 7/11 to grab something to eat. Thank goodness, we met two Filipinas working there. Saved! Alleluyah!

Take advantage of the free shuttle and treats in Macau!

Let's eat! Again! Hihihi

I left my heart in Macau!!! I fell in love... <3 <3 <3  Haha!

Thumbs up! <3 <3 <3

TIP:
When in doubt, ask. There are lots of Pinoys in Macau and even in Hong Kong. :)

Hongkong: Disneyland

I'm a 90's kid, and I love all Disney "fairy-tale" stories. Until now I still love listening to all those Disney fairytale songs.  And until now, i'm STILL waiting for my "Prince Charming". Chos Haha! Since it's my first time, I was just as excited as a 5 year old kid. Imagine!!! feels like stepping into my childhood again. Haha :)

Take MTR, get off at Sunny Bay and ride the Disneyland Line going to the magical land :) woohoo!

Finally, Touchdown to the happiest place on Earth!!! Disneyland! Haha, woopie!

Mickey!!!

Di namin naabutan si Mickey!!! wala kaming pic together. huhu, nag buh bye na sila dito. </3

Conyo probem:
"Like", we couldn't make sakay to all the "rides" nanaman coz "late" na and we should make hanap "pwesto" na and wait for the illumination of Tinker Bell's Castle.

The fireworks started a bit late that night. Nevertheless, it was still worth the wait!
